Remittance Recovery provides services for the private sector (private investigations), attorneys, insurance carriers, and medical practioners (revenue cycle management/claims recovery). Please review the list of services below, and call today if we can be of service to you.
Insurance Carriers/Attorneys/Private Sector:
My experience as an investigator involves medical, life and disability claims investigations; however, I am adept in accident investigations as well. I conduct thorough and professional investigations to provide my client with accurate documentation. Investigations will be conducted at your direction, and in compliance with the law. I am accessible and willing to travel to meet the needs and expectations of my client. Remittance Recovery is a member of the Louisiana Private Investigators Association (LPIA).
After many years of being on the insurance claim side of the fence, I found that it would be rewarding to go into the field and assist healthcare providers with quality service that my unique qualifications can provide. I have been gainfully employed as a medical office manager, and I have spent the last 16 years of my career as a medical claims analyst, claims investigator, and team leader for one of the largest third party administrators in the Southern region of the U.S.
Remittance Recovery will work diligently to recover what is due to you as a health care provider. You are welcome to inquire into the process of the recovery at any time. All patient information is strictly confidential and will only be shared with the appropriate parties (within HIPAA guidelines) to get your claim resolved. All correspondence whether by e-mail, phone, fax, or U.S. mail will be handled with the utmost professionalism. You will find that this recovery process will be more beneficial to you and your patients than a "collection" agency that knows little or nothing about medical claims.
The provider of services is responsible for providing the claims recovery specialist with the patient’s bill (CMS 1500), insurance information, and medical record (if necessary) for claim re-submission. Each claim re-submission will host a cover letter outlining a request to the insurance company for the specific need of the claim attached.
Recovery fee for denied or delayed claims will be 20% of the remittance of the disputed claims. The "problem" claims will be tagged at the time I get involved and properly documented in your accounts receivable record. When you receive your remittance advice and check for the tagged claims, a check shall be issued to Remittance Recovery for 20% of the remittance within 10 days of receipt of the remittance advice or your next payroll cycle.
Remittance Recovery has excellent references upon request. A copy of the service agreement is also available upon request. Just send your request via the "Contact Us" tab located to the left of this page.
